Pascual Carballar made in the 16th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Santino Seco however managed to control. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Billy Sandström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl Pilgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 37th minute of play forced BANDOLEIROS osasco's goalkeeper Karl Pilgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl Pilgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 41st play minute Billy Sandström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Manzanares. 2-2. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
