Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Guo Shi Kang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Giannis Karanikolas came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Lepνdhi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giannis Karanikolas couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Zacharias Balodimos came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fragiskos Stilianopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lepνdhi FC's Ianis Hagi got a free kick in the 29th minute. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Guo Shi Kang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 34 minutes, Michal Sakowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lepνdhi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michal Sakowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Fragiskos Stilianopoulos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fragiskos Stilianopoulos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Stamatis Varkaris struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lepνdhi FC. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zacharias Balodimos made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacharias Balodimos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guo Shi Kang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Fragiskos Stilianopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Fragiskos Stilianopoulos made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Fragiskos Stilianopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Fragiskos Stilianopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lepνdhi FC made a substitution. Pavlos Liaros replaced Michal Sakowicz. Lepνdhi FC's Mai Xiang Sen was substituted for Ermis Kalfas. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guo Shi Kang having to interfere. Lepνdhi FC made a substitution. 曹思骏 replaced Giannis Karanikolas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zacharias Balodimos in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Lepνdhi FC's Guo Shi Kang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Secada in the 88th minute of play. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a Lepνdhi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Lepνdhi FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
