If Arthur Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's 陆岚文 got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carolo Leguizamón kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Facundo Cadaval cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tiago Gabriel Gomes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the game, Luca Zorita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC the free kick. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 陆岚文, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Tiago Gabriel Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 52nd minute of play. LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arthur Alvarenga took the corner. The LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiago Gabriel Gomes should have stopped the shot. In the 86th play minute Lotan Otto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dante Lacasa. 2-2. After 89 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiago Gabriel Gomes was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 92nd minute of play forced LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mexico fans cheered their team off the field, for while LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
