The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, TunaFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Sezgin Ulutaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Sezgin Ulutaş despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ortzi Calzado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Sezgin Ulutaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faruk Nafiz Tutuş. Agustín Saelices was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Julio Vera was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Faruk Nafiz Tutuş capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Faruk Nafiz Tutuş really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Sezgin Ulutaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of TunaFC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ortzi Calzado in the 33rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezgin Ulutaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. TunaFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oğuzalp Orkutay in the 42nd minute. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Sezgin Ulutaş made a huge save. In the 56th minute, Oğuzalp Orkutay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TunaFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 59 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Enes Ural received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sezgin Ulutaş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. TunaFC's Faruk Nafiz Tutuş got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, TunaFC's goalkeeper Sezgin Ulutaş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 78th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sezgin Ulutaş made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Sezgin Ulutaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Faruk Nafiz Tutuş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
