They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rajmond Visch to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eneko Alvarez saved Mas que Vencedores 1988 from getting behind. Eneko Alvarez came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rajmond Visch in the 94th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. The Venezuela supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mas que Vencedores 1988's performance. The match ended with a win for Mas que Vencedores 1988.
