Lucas Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 90th match minute, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Gustavsson to maneuver through the defense. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Boris Gustavsson kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rafael Gallo 101 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
