Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sociedad Anónima's Stanislao Talaga. Stanislao Talaga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sebastian Villa scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stanislao Talaga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the game, Nuno Mazorra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sociedad Anónima's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Nuno Mazorra kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Sebastian Villa took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stanislao Talaga. Stanislao Talaga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Stanislao Talaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Orland Beltranilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stanislao Talaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes Sociedad Anónima got a freekick which was hit by Josepe Camarero. Valentín Carvallo hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Pacho Cando might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pacho Cando ran back to his position shaking his head. Orland Beltranilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 41 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stanislao Talaga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orland Beltranilla to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Villa took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stanislao Talaga. Stanislao Talaga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 62nd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislao Talaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sociedad Anónima's Stanislao Talaga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Sociedad Anónima from getting a goal against them. Stanislao Talaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stanislao Talaga. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Christian Sancho a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Villa in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stanislao Talaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stanislao Talaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Stanislao Talaga. Sociedad Anónima's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 86th match minute, Sociedad Anónima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josepe Camarero to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Espiga, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 88th minute, Sebastian Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. Stanislao Talaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sociedad Anónima.
