Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After 12 minutes of play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stanislao Talaga was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislao Talaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanislao Talaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 16th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Orland Beltranilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sociedad Anónima's supporters rose to their feet, but Orland Beltranilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Berganza got in the 20th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Stanislao Talaga handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sociedad Anónima's Orland Beltranilla got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The Panama fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Panama's Abraham Alguacil looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Sociedad Anónima's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Stanislao Talaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Stanislao Talaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stanislao Talaga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isidoro Sarmiento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 95 minute of play.
