Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Moises Fernandino kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Joel Rafe got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute, Abram Luque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was a well-played corner which Jorge Magrina managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 13th minute, Moises Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Silvano Chayo got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Mateo Leguizamo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Candido Haitz skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abram Luque during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abram Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 21st minute of play forced ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s goalkeeper Candido Haitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Hilario Baladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Rafe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. Candido Haitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Silvano Chayo made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Hilario Baladi. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Haitz having to interfere. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Candido Haitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. The crowd rose to their feet as Moises Fernandino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Candido Haitz. That made the score 1-1 in the 62 minute of play. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Gaizkine in the 70th minute of play. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Candido Haitz came out and tried to block the shot, but Moises Fernandino slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Mateo Leguizamo managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Leguizamo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Haitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Candido Haitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moises Fernandino might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Candido Haitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moises Fernandino ran back to his position shaking his head. El Salvador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
