Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Neron Abastas sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. A collision led to Real Potosí getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Pirro Abar hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lon Abechuco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 14th minute, Bela Abeitia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ezequiel Palacios kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Gustavo Zapata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bela Abeitia in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Lon Abechuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Lon Abechuco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bela Abeitia in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Neron Abastas kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bela Abeitia was the one to do the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 50th minute. Penalty! Julio Vera had in the 52ndth minute some difficulties stopping Duarte Abarca's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 52 minutes of play, Real Potosí's Duarte Abarca made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 55th minute, Ecuador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Neron Abastas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Lon Abechuco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Beto Alonso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. When Bela Abeitia came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Real Potosí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bela Abeitia couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bela Abeitia. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Bela Abeitia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bela Abeitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Potosí made a substitution. Gilen Abeitia replaced Gustavo Quinteros. Real Potosí made a substitution. Marques Abenda replaced Beto Alonso. Real Potosí were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Duarte Abarca took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Duarte Abarca got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Real Potosí's Iparragirre Abastas was substituted for Neron Abastas. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Marques Abenda sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 89 in the game by Bela Abeitia from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lon Abechuco. Lon Abechuco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Real Potosí were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Duarte Abarca took the corner. Real Potosí were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Ecuador's much stronger midfield.
