Haiti's Noel Seide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natan Coekx in the 34th minute of play. Haiti's Ernso Constant managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Karel-Jan Biermans in the 43 minute of the game. Taha Akyol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Alphonse in the 44th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominic Colebrants got free with Noel Seide in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dominic Colebrants made a kick off. Dominic Colebrants sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernso Constant in the 59th minute of play forced Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's goalkeeper Taha Akyol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominic Colebrants, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
