Flamengo CIMZ's Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber Torres came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Kiszkiel in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Flamengo CIMZ getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Alfred Kiszkiel hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Flamengo CIMZ's Niceto Frichoso in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Flamengo CIMZ booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Casaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Kiszkiel in the 36th minute of play. Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Édouard Mendy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 56th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Édouard Mendy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Moncho Vicente hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes, Chile's Mariano Lacasa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Édouard Mendy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chile reached it. A collision led to Flamengo CIMZ getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. André Barros hit a great ball. André Barros hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Niceto Frichoso notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Niceto Frichoso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thiago Pliego firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Édouard Mendy came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 96 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Édouard Mendy narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
