Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Koby Wright got the match started through his kick off. Sebastian Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koby Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 6 played minutes Inter de Guayaquil FC got a freekick which was hit by Saffet Ataergin. In the 9th minute of the match, Carter George tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastian Hellkvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 11 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rohan Watson came free, but Sebastian Hellkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koby Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Jakub Ziombkowski took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jax Williamson. Jax Williamson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Inter de Guayaquil FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Canada's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saffet Ataergin took the corner. Jax Williamson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörn Svartengren's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Sebastian Hellkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Inter de Guayaquil FC from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Koby Wright came free, but Sebastian Hellkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jörn Svartengren in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Canada's goalie prevented a goal. Canada's Jax Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakub Ziombkowski in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute Inter de Guayaquil FC were awarded a corner. Saffet Ataergin went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Saffet Ataergin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jax Williamson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by Rohan Watson with Richard Mccarthy as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 34th minute, Jörn Svartengren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de Guayaquil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 37th minute, Jan Dixon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Hellkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After taking down the ball on Inter de Guayaquil FC's corner Saffet Ataergin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jax Williamson quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Dixon in the 44th minute of play forced Inter de Guayaquil FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörn Svartengren took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jax Williamson. Jax Williamson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Inter de Guayaquil FC made a substitution. Éric Cantona replaced Jörn Svartengren. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Éric Cantona made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Dixon in the 53rd minute of play forced Inter de Guayaquil FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Richard Mccarthy almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Inter de Guayaquil FC's Sebastian Hellkvist did a great save. After a rather tough play, Canada's Nate Mills got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Inter de Guayaquil FC booed when Canada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nate Mills didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Saffet Ataergin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sebastian Hellkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Edwards in the 67th minute of play. A very nice done corner allowed Luka Harris to score against Sebastian Hellkvist in Inter de Guayaquil FC's goal. 2-3 after 69 minutes. Sebastian Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Edwards, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute of the match Canada got a corner. Inter de Guayaquil FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jan Dixon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jax Williamson was a little too slow when Éric Cantona got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 2-4. Canada's Jax Williamson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Canada from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Edwards in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Hellkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastian Hellkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Edwards in the 84th minute of play. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Sebastian Hellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Dixon in the 86th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, Canada's Jan Dixon made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Hellkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Canada's Jax Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Barragan in the 94th minute of play. Sebastian Hellkvist came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Canada's Prince Anderson. But to his dismay, Prince Anderson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-5. Inter de Guayaquil FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
