Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Neron Abastas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Lon Abechuco in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bela Abeitia in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neron Abastas in the 57th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Potosí's Bela Abeitia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 0-3 after 58 minutes of play. Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, Real Potosí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neron Abastas to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Francisco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lon Abechuco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Kevin Carballal hit a great ball. Real Potosí made a substitution. Savion Abellaneda replaced Gustavo Quinteros. After 74 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Carballal. 75 minutes into the match, Bela Abeitia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bela Abeitia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Cazalla during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bela Abeitia in the 79th minute of the match. The throw-in from Gustavo Zapata in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. 93 minutes in the game Gustavo Zapata did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Marques Abenda. The Real Potosí players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
