Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Wladyslaw Popowicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Mustafa Barış Yorangil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mustafa Barış Yorangil showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when C. A. Potrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Berdoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Potrero made a substitution. Baldomero Abad replaced Mustafa Barış Yorangil. 89 minutes in the game Moises Berdoi did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Baldomero Abad. Baldomero Abad took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The audience was convinced that Baldomero Abad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. In the 97th minute, Baldomero Abad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. Potrero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. C. A. Potrero walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
