Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kyle Davies started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Daniel Pascu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Pascu's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Daniel Pascu scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Daniel Pascu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Barrett was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Florin Busuioc scored 0-3 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Negru in the 22nd minute of play. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florin Busuioc went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. When Vasile Bouleanu fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s protests and gave Vasile Bouleanu a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Pascu in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Florin Busuioc left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Pascu in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Pascu's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. The FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta- fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s Daniel Pascu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 45 minutes, Daniel Pascu made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Pascu to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s Daniel Pascu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Barrett. That made the score 0-8 after 51 minutes of play. The supporters of FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta- booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanley Wallace didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Pascu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s Daniel Pascu in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curacao's goalie prevented a goal. In the 59th minute, Emanuel Bunescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Pascu in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bruno Barrett, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Bunescu in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Pascu in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Curacao's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Moise Hârlău scored to the left of an out of position Bruno Barrett, making the score, 1-9. Daniel Pascu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. Daniel Pascu in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bruno Barrett, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Daniel Pascu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Bruno Barrett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 82nd minute Florin Busuioc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigi Negru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Dorel Frântu sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Emanuel Bunescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charles Cox hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute of the match Moise Hârlău sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Barrett skillfully saved the ball. FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta- played a much better game than Curacao and deserved their victory. The Curacao players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
