Belchior Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higino Barata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lázaro Mourato in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. In the 9th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Gaspar Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lázaro Mourato went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 20 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. After 26 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakan Şükür in the 32nd minute of the match. 尹帆棋 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Alcocer in the 34th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Silveira in the 37th minute of play. Blas Bartoli's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lázaro Mourato to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, FC DUDU's Lázaro Mourato dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Lázaro Mourato sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. 尹帆棋 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 68 minutes of play, FC DUDU's Hakan Şükür made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Hakan Şükür took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. In the 76th minute, Hakan Şükür reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 0-9. 81 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Silveira. Higino Barata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. The throw-in from Eliseo Noboa in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC DUDU's Higino Barata. After 91 minutes of play, FC DUDU's Higino Barata made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC DUDU played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
