Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Abel Carrillo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Abel Carrillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Carrillo ran back to his position shaking his head. 2 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Carrillo. Pamplona FC's Elar Queron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 4th minute of play. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elar Queron. Elar Queron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Reiner Naranjo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Guevara in the 26th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Reiner Naranjo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reiner Naranjo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reiner Naranjo in the 36th minute. After 37 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Elar Queron despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joshua Secada in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elar Queron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 41 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Guevara in the 46th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Reiner Naranjo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Reiner Naranjo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Reiner Naranjo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Pamplona FC's Leo Guevara. But to his dismay, Leo Guevara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Pamplona FC's Humberto Sanchez was substituted for Abel Carrillo. Israel Figueroa hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Elar Queron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 78th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elar Queron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Pinga kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Pamplona FC's Elar Queron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Pamplona FC from getting a goal against them. Elar Queron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pamplona FC had played much better football throughout.
