Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Pojo booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Rikhard Alatalo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Kauno Timmonen made a huge save. In the 15th minute Taavetti Noponen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taavetti Noponen's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rikhard Alatalo in the 16th minute of the match. With a little luck, Pojo's Kauno Timmonen got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Juho Marttinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Juho Marttinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kauno Timmonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 30th minute of the match. Joel Gaona kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Pojo's Taavetti Noponen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With his leg Kauno Timmonen managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 40th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Kauno Timmonen. Pojo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rikhard Alatalo in the 45th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Juho Marttinen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rikhard Alatalo to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juho Marttinen got free with Dante Lacasa in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Alberto Tafalla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kauno Timmonen was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Zorita heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Pojo's Taisto Laaksonen was substituted for Teijo Okkonen. In the 82nd minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauno Timmonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kauno Timmonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Walmyr Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Pojo's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Kauno Timmonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kauno Timmonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The Pojo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pojo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
