Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Gustaf Tiede sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Kenn Fronval. AB Tårnby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 24th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenn Fronval saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenn Fronval breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. After 35 minutes, Ian Axelfeldt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AB Tårnby and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AB Tårnby's Ian Axelfeldt got a free kick in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenn Fronval saved AB Tårnby from getting behind. A collision led to AB Tårnby getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Iliyan Glogov hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, AB Tårnby's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Kenn Fronval reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Kenn Fronval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustaf Tiede was the one to do the kick off. AB Tårnby's Kenn Fronval proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save AB Tårnby from getting a goal against them. Kenn Fronval made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute. After 62 played minutes AB Tårnby got a freekick which was hit by Phillip Pallisø. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Kenn Fronval despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Tiede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ian Axelfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kenn Fronval made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. If Gustaf Tiede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kenn Fronval came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Montenegro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 81st minute. If Gustaf Tiede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, AB Tårnby's Phillip Pallisø got a free kick in the 85th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Kenn Fronval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute of the match, Felix Montes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kenn Fronval was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, AB Tårnby's Phillip Pallisø got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the match, AB Tårnby's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Kenn Fronval reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The AB Tårnby fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
