Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Faleh Al Saleh got the match started through his kick off. Ebrahem Al Qatam hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Ebrahem Al Qatam made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Salah Al Towatan immediately put the ball in play. Shaban Al Motaire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Younis Al Harban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Younis Al Harban came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Younis Al Harban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Younis Al Harban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. Younis Al Harban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Basel Al Baghli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Al-Ahli getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Basel Al Baghli hit a great ball. Sebastian Villa took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Younis Al Harban. Younis Al Harban dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Villa got free with Younis Al Harban in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shaban Al Motaire during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 72 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Villa. Shaban Al Motaire hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Younis Al Harban had great luck who in the 74thth minute grab hold of the ball when Edmundo Espiga from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 77 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Younis Al Harban, 0-7. Edmundo Espiga had several of the Al-Ahli's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Younis Al Harban as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Al-Ahli's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Younis Al Harban came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute Moises Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Younis Al Harban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Honduras booed when Al-Ahli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaqoub Shalan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ebrahem Al Qatam, made in the 95th minute of the game. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Honduras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
