Thiago Hudsons short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Marco Day to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mukifus FSCMZ's Thiago Hudson got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Mukifus FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Rômulo Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes, Edward Mcdonald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the USA and the Mukifus FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edward Mcdonald hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute Thiago Hudson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Ben Zynek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mukifus FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ben Zynek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rômulo Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mukifus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Rômulo Neiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mukifus FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Ben Zynek got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. From a short distance, Mukifus FSCMZ's Thiago Hudson, in the 35th minute, tried to place the ball behind Marco Day, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ben Zynek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mukifus FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ben Zynek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Mukifus FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Rômulo Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Thiago Hudson made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Mcdonald to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Thiago Hudson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Mcdonald got free with Rômulo Neiva in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Monty Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Rômulo Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mukifus FSCMZ made a substitution. Fulgencio Furman replaced Ignacy Pluciennik. Mukifus FSCMZ's Jozef Botto was substituted for Thiago Hudson. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. 76 minutes into the match, Jozef Botto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jozef Botto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 80 minutes into the match, Mukifus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Rômulo Neiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam Campbell. Rômulo Neiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Khalid Parry went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Mukifus FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fulgencio Furman took the corner. 90 minutes into the game, Mukifus FSCMZ's Cássio Vidal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Baker in the 92nd minute of play forced Mukifus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Rômulo Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
