Josepe Camarero's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josepe Camarero helped the player get up and apologised. Josepe Camarero kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match, Edmundo Espiga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stanislao Talaga saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stanislao Talaga saved Sociedad Anónima from getting behind. Stanislao Talaga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 27th minute. In the 33rd minute of the match, Edmundo Espiga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stanislao Talaga saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Sebastian Villa took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Stanislao Talaga to make any attempt to save it. 38 minutes into the match, Ivan Navarro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stanislao Talaga. Sociedad Anónima's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Navarro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With a little luck, Sociedad Anónima's Stanislao Talaga got control of the ball when Sebastian Villa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Sociedad Anónima booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. The referee ignored Sociedad Anónima's protests and gave Nuno Mazorra a yellow card for diving instead. Nuno Mazorra kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Stanislao Talaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
