Karl Martin Bell Burnell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Arí Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deng Shu Kuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 27 minutes into the match, Alvinegro de Tupã's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Karl Martin Bell Burnell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Alvinegro de Tupã's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Karl Martin Bell Burnell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Karl Martin Bell Burnell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Hortêncio Donatello hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Deng Shu Kuan to strike the kick off in the second half. Karl Martin Bell Burnell was a little too slow when Alberto Tafalla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-1. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 66th minute of play forced Alvinegro de Tupã's goalkeeper Karl Martin Bell Burnell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Rashad Bartlett came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Joel Gaona hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Alberto Tafalla took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Karl Martin Bell Burnell to make any attempt to save it. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rashad Bartlett in the 85th minute of play. After 88 played minutes, Alvinegro de Tupã's Hortêncio Donatello shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dante Lacasa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alvinegro de Tupã reached it. Karl Martin Bell Burnell came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Alvinegro de Tupã throughout the match.
