After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Raimundo Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Raimundo Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gabriel Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 8 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Vinhas came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Gabriel Vinhas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute, Gabriel Vinhas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 18 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Vinhas came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Relyn Futebol Clube were awarded a corner. Romeo Cangeopol went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Relyn Futebol Clube's Romeo Cangeopol to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacobo Nores despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Alan Campos fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Alan Campos a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paraguay! Romeo Cangeopol placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Relyn Futebol Clube's Gabriel Vinhas got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gabriel Vinhas scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Sanz to maneuver through the defense. Relyn Futebol Clube's Raimundo Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Relyn Futebol Clube's Gabriel Vinhas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Gabriel Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Vinhas in the 48th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Vinhas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Relyn Futebol Clube's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 58th minute, Gabriel Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Relyn Futebol Clube's Genaro Valdemoro was substituted for Qu Jun Fan. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Jose Sanz got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Raimundo Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Sanz kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Vinhas in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Vinhas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacobo Nores came out and tried to block the shot, but Gabriel Vinhas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 73rd minute. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Vinhas in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Vinhas came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Nores was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Gabriel Vinhas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gabriel Vinhas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. In the 90th minute, Relyn Futebol Clube's Gabriel Vinhas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. After 92 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Escribano. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Vinhas got free with Jacobo Nores in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th minute Raimundo Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
