Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gogo Timo took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Vimaro came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilfredo Irrintzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Gryffindor Lions's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilfredo Irrintzi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Gaxan, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Tonio in the 19th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Wilfredo Irrintzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Timo in the 28th minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gogo Timo's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Gogo Timo's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gogo Timo helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Vimaro in the 45th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 minutes of play, Gryffindor Lions's Gogo Vimaro made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Manuel Tonio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gryffindor Lions's Ramon Maurino got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Gryffindor Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Wilfredo Irrintzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gogo Timo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Gryffindor Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Remigio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilfredo Irrintzi. Gryffindor Lions's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Irrintzi having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Gryffindor Lions's Gogo Timo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Gryffindor Lions's Norberto Raphael got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute of the match, Gogo Vimaro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wilfredo Irrintzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Gryffindor Lions's Wilfredo Irrintzi. Wilfredo Irrintzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gogo Timo in the 90th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Irrintzi having to interfere.
