When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-4 when 朱凡光 sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Malin Pušķis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. After 65 minutes, Alexander Carballo mouthed his way into the referee's book.
