Joel Gaona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 康永杰. 野马队's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, 谢天延 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute 谢天延 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, 谢天延 made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With a little luck, 野马队's 康永杰 got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joel Gaona was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 康永杰 could save by the left post. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Alberto Tafalla got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Tafalla during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Alberto Tafalla hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 杨瑜迅 in the 39th minute of the match. 马昆松 kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Tafalla did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised 康永杰 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when 谢天延 got free with Dante Lacasa in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute 谢天延 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 武川思. 谢天延 struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 野马队. 76 minutes into the match, 野马队's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but 康永杰 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 minutes 野马队's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Mexico's Luca Rouco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 康永杰 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 80th minute of play forced 野马队's goalkeeper 康永杰 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when 武川思 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 康永杰 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play Mexico's Alberto Tafalla was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 88th minute, Alberto Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 康永杰 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Mexico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when 卓松笑 scored to the left of an out of position Dante Lacasa, making the score, 2-3. When 武川思, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 97 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dante Lacasa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. 野马队 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
