Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafim Neiva having to interfere. Black fox's Serafim Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Black fox's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. With an all-out effort, Black fox's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Galsino Briñas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Galsino Briñas scored 1-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Serafim Neiva was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
