Battle of death
Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Juan Benavides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juan Benavides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Nelsinho Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Benavides. Juan Benavides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Benavides having to interfere. Juan Benavides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Benavides made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After having played for 30 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juan Benavides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 36 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner led to Mexico's Luca Rouco getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Juan Benavides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 46th minute of play.

If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Juan Benavides had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Facundo Cadaval. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Benavides breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nelsinho Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute Humberto Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Escobar scored 2-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 71 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Benavides was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the game, 邓冰建 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. The corner led Mexico's Luca Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Juan Benavides despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Juan Benavides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Juan Benavides. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. When ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Humberto Escobar in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mexico's attack was well implemented in the 95th minute, but when Joel Gaona was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ►Las Mercedes F.C◄.
