Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hubert Dahlgren started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Zippys Talanger's Hubert Dahlgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 6th minute, Moises Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 7 played minutes Zippys Talanger got a freekick which was hit by Stig Haegg. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hubert Dahlgren in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hubert Dahlgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Lorenzo Yepes got a free kick in the 21st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Moises Fernandino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karl Wallin. That made the score 2-1 in the 26 minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Hubert Dahlgren came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Jernberg in the 41st minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zippys Talanger's Karl Wallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Zippys Talanger's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Karl Wallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Luque in the 55th minute of play forced Zippys Talanger's goalkeeper Karl Wallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Salvador's Abram Luque got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th match minute, Zippys Talanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Benett to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl Wallin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute Paul Jernberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Hubert Dahlgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The El Salvador fans cheered their team off the field, for while Zippys Talanger had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
