Bērtulis Pupurs scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antis Voitkāns, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Hugo Pavilonis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 11th minute. After 12 minutes FK LOHATRONI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Joshua Secada drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind FK LOHATRONI's goalkeeper. After 18 played minutes FK LOHATRONI got a freekick which was hit by Tomass Bundzenieks. Tomas Illescas shot from long distance after 19 played minutes, a shot that Hugo Pavilonis with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Antis Voitkāns scored 1-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, FK LOHATRONI's Reinis Renhofs got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomass Bundzenieks during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FK LOHATRONI's Antis Voitkāns got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hugo Pavilonis, 2-2. Antis Voitkāns took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Hugo Pavilonis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 38th minute. After 42 minutes of play, FK LOHATRONI's Kristaps Boraks made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antis Voitkāns stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Bērtulis Pupurs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 54th minute. Antis Voitkāns blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antis Voitkāns got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute Antis Voitkāns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 67th minute. FK LOHATRONI's Orests Lesčinskis was substituted for Tomass Bundzenieks. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 71st minute. FK LOHATRONI's Kristaps Boraks got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bērtulis Pupurs succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-5 in the 79th playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as FK LOHATRONI's Bērtulis Pupurs slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 4-6 after 86 minutes of play. In the 90th minute Antis Voitkāns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antis Voitkāns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Pavilonis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-6. FK LOHATRONI played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
