Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Atarratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Abelardo Mirande kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Teobald Jazowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Cloyo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Mirande charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abelardo Mirande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Leones Bielsistas's Abelardo Mirande got a free kick in the 25th minute. Cristobal Casado was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Leones Bielsistas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 35 minutes into the match, Leones Bielsistas's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Teodoro Ralondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Casado in the 38th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Ralondo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 41st minute. 43 minutes in the game, Herminio Cloyo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Atarratze in the 52nd minute of play. Cayetano Atarratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Cloyo in the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Leones Bielsistas's Abelardo Mirande got a free kick in the 66th minute. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Leones Bielsistas. Karsten Dolang kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Leones Bielsistas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karsten Dolang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erwin Smith made in the 77th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Herminio Cloyo however managed to control. 79 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Casado came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Erwin Smith got a throw-in 95 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Herminio Cloyo.
