ALIANZA 1901's Ruy Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Vadillos in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Esteban Vadillos hit a great ball. When Zarbonin Riesco fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ALIANZA 1901's protests and gave Zarbonin Riesco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ALIANZA 1901's Zarbonin Riesco got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goal looked a bit too open when Manolo Bacete came free, but Ruy Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Manolo Bacete recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ruy Berger. Manolo Bacete showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Alfredo Tomasini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurino Serena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Zarbonin Riesco got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ALIANZA 1901 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
