Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Murillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Norberto Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Norberto Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 9th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when M. Agus Young sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes in the game Emmanuel Reyes did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Milagros Fraga. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Tino having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Reyes to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Tino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when M. Agus Young stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Santa Lucia de Merlo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Levan Poggenborg to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling M. Agus Young in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alvaro Llorienzo charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Prospero Bernard was substituted for M. Agus Young. After having played for 77 minutes, Prospero Bernard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Lucia de Merlo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prospero Bernard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th of the match, Eliseo Mina tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Norberto Tino got in the way and made a wonderful save. With his leg Norberto Tino managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. After 89 played minutes Rafael Gallo rounded Santa Lucia de Merlo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. With an all-out effort, Peru's Norberto Tino threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafael Gallo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Norberto Tino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 92nd minute of the match. Norberto Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Tenorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
