Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Cumming in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute OxentePaisa Salcity were awarded a corner. 郑霖钢 went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on OxentePaisa Salcity's corner 郑霖钢 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Vello Landi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, OxentePaisa Salcity's goalkeeper Vello Landi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joshua Cumming in the 39th minute of the match. Primitivo Andino got a throw-in 41 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Agustín Saelices. Vello Landi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joshua Cumming was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Felix Montenegro in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by OxentePaisa Salcity's Frederico Cunha. If Gogo Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. OxentePaisa Salcity's Joshua Cumming got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 郑霖钢 in the 65th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, OxentePaisa Salcity's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Vello Landi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute OxentePaisa Salcity were awarded a corner. 郑霖钢 went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that 郑霖钢 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 82 minutes of play OxentePaisa Salcity's 郑霖钢 was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ecuador made a substitution. Diego Mancebo replaced Felix Montenegro. In the 83rd minute, 郑霖钢 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. OxentePaisa Salcity's Vello Landi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 86th minute of play forced OxentePaisa Salcity's goalkeeper Vello Landi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Agustín Saelices's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vello Landi was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices managed to work through OxentePaisa Salcity's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Agustín Saelices dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vello Landi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Joshua Cumming charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joshua Cumming the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vello Landi had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Diego Mancebo got a throw-in 97 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Daniel Zorita. OxentePaisa Salcity succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
