With an all-out effort, Uruguay's Marcelinho Abraão threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jaime Cazalla, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Karaboudjan's Marcelinho Abraão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Karaboudjan from getting a goal against them. Karaboudjan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
