Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amadeo Tristan started the match with the kick off. Karlus Waugh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romon Oliver's late challenge caught a Real Suciedad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romon Oliver helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Romon Oliver. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Suciedad's Amadeo Tristan. But to his dismay, Amadeo Tristan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With an all-out effort, Jamaica's Cyryl Skonieczny threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Finlay Stair, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Cabañas went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 23 minutes into the game, Evelio Enetz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Suciedad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jamaica the free kick. 23 minutes into the game, one of Real Suciedad:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Cyryl Skonieczny, was totally fooled by Jamaica's Finlay Stair, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Tristan in the 30th minute of play. Finlay Stair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyryl Skonieczny having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Amadeo Tristan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeo Tristan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Cabañas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Cabañas charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Cabañas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roberto Cabañas hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Tristan in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Finlay Stair was the one to do the kick off. Jamaica's Romon Oliver got his second yellow card of the match in the 56th minute. The referee ordered Romon Oliver off the ground. In the 57th minute, Romon Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Suciedad's Roberto Cabañas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 1-5 after 63 minutes of play. Finlay Stair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyryl Skonieczny having to interfere. In the 71st minute Roberto Cabañas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when Sebastião Varela tried to sneak it across the goal line. Demonde Jacobson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Elazar in the 78th minute. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Cabañas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute of the match, Roberto Elazar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Demonde Jacobson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Real Suciedad's Sebastião Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeo Tristan had several of the Jamaica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 90 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Demonde Jacobson as he didn't even see the shot coming. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Suciedad's Amadeo Tristan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 1-7 after 93 minutes of play. Sebastião Varela hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
