Doni Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 played minutes ARON FC got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Sousa. Doni Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play forced ARON FC's goalkeeper Doni Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doni Nóbrega didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute, Felix Montes made a precise shot to the right of Doni Nóbrega. ARON FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Vito Donatello tried in the game's 51st match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Doni Nóbrega. An annoying self made goal, 0-6. Doni Nóbrega made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. In the 60th minute Juan Sebastián Puig suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Ecuador's Max Alvarado was substituted for Juan Sebastián Puig. Conrado Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doni Nóbrega made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Doni Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Max Alvarado came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max Alvarado couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doni Nóbrega was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. Doni Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldir dos Santos during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Waldir dos Santos hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
