Mario Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, Samuel Horduña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Viola Gigliati's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivia the free kick. A collision led to AFC Viola Gigliati getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Samuel Horduña hit a great ball. AFC Viola Gigliati's Garin Candina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Viola Gigliati's zone, Alfonso de la Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garin Candina came out of the goal and Alfonso de la Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Garin Candina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 16th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Alfonso de la Cruz put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Garin Candina. 22 minutes into the match, Mario Fernandino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Garin Candina. AFC Viola Gigliati's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Fernandino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Alfonso de la Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Garin Candina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garin Candina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Chicote took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Garin Candina. Garin Candina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. AFC Viola Gigliati's Samuel Horduña managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joshua Miralles in the 39 minute of the game. Garin Candina came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Bolivia's Alfredo Ferrant. But to his dismay, Alfredo Ferrant quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 44 minutes in the game Mario Fernandino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alfonso de la Cruz.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timeteo Surco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Viola Gigliati's zone, Mario Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garin Candina came out of the goal and Mario Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AFC Viola Gigliati's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Eduardo Fontirroig scored to the left of an out of position Garin Candina, making the score, 0-6. 59 minutes into the match, AFC Viola Gigliati's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Chicote came free, but Garin Candina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Garin Candina managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the AFC Viola Gigliati defense, Eduardo Fontirroig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Garin Candina. The AFC Viola Gigliati fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Garin Candina should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes in the game, Eduardo Fontirroig fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Garin Candina having to interfere. When Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFC Viola Gigliati's goalie prevented a goal. Bolivia were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after AFC Viola Gigliati's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mario Fernandino took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Mario Fernandino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Garin Candina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Eduardo Fontirroig came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Fontirroig couldn't finish the play. AFC Viola Gigliati's Garin Candina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Mario Fernandino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Garin Candina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Elorri Palmer managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Viola Gigliati's supporters rose to their feet, but Elorri Palmer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Freixa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Fontirroig got free with Garin Candina in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Garin Candina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Chicote, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garin Candina having to interfere. Garin Candina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Chicote, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96thth minute of the game Eduardo Fontirroig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Viola Gigliati's Garin Candina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bolivia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
