Federation Clash Challenge

Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Geovani Mendonça started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute Yusuf Yazıcı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Tio Cosme FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Mendonça came free, but Yu Kun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yu Kun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Cruz in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yusuf Yazıcı got free with Vicente Guimarães in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute E. C. Uruguaiana were awarded a corner. Shao Ming Jian went to the cornerflag to take it. Shao Ming Jian made a great header on E. C. Uruguaiana's corner, it was just that Tio Cosme FC's Yu Kun managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 25th minute Yusuf Yazıcı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The E. C. Uruguaiana fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when E. C. Uruguaiana's Maicon Palmeira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Yu Kun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Palmeira in the 32nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Vicente Guimarães successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tio Cosme FC's Victorino Gonzalez got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Tio Cosme FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Angel Gilesindo hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tio Cosme FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! Tio Cosme FC:s Yu Kun showed great skill when he stopped Shao Ming Jian:s penalty. 48 minutes into the match, Shao Ming Jian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yu Kun. Tio Cosme FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shao Ming Jian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorino Gonzalez to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, E. C. Uruguaiana's Maicon Palmeira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yu Kun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of E. C. Uruguaiana booed when Tio Cosme FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Dolcet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tio Cosme FC made a substitution. Abelardo Asur replaced Victorino Gonzalez. A collision led to Tio Cosme FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Tadeo Goito hit a great ball. In the 81st match minute, E. C. Uruguaiana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shao Ming Jian to maneuver through the defense. Maicon Palmeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Yu Kun made a huge save. In the 85th minute, E. C. Uruguaiana's Maicon Palmeira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Tio Cosme FC's Yu Kun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Tio Cosme FC from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the match, E. C. Uruguaiana's goal looked a bit too open when Yusuf Yazıcı came free, but Vicente Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Valdemar da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Tio Cosme FC's Abelardo Asur tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Clemente Eger charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Eger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raul Oriol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Vicente Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The E. C. Uruguaiana supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing E. C. Uruguaiana would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
