Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Artemio Lamberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artemio Lamberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Triunvirato FC's Artemio Lamberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Triunvirato FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Artemio Lamberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Artemio Lamberto came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Triunvirato FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play forced Triunvirato FC's goalkeeper Artemio Lamberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Triunvirato FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustín Saelices in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artemio Lamberto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Triunvirato FC's Miguel Gombal got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Triunvirato FC's Artemio Lamberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorio Gora made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Triunvirato FC's Artemio Lamberto. Artemio Lamberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th match minute, Triunvirato FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Rios to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Ceferino Quico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Triunvirato FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artemio Lamberto came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Triunvirato FC made a substitution. Anibal Jaizki replaced Victorio Gora. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, Jorge Garoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anibal Jaizki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Triunvirato FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Artemio Lamberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Triunvirato FC's goalkeeper Artemio Lamberto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Artemio Lamberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uriel Rios kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes Triunvirato FC got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Gil. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Triunvirato FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
