Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) SE Palestra Itália's Betão Vargas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Bruno Campon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clayton Sergi went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Clayton Sergi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Tony Chaves in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tony Chaves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. When Bruno Campon came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the SE Palestra Itália fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Campon couldn't finish the play. If Clayton Sergi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clayton Sergi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. The SE Palestra Itália fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when SE Palestra Itália's Clayton Sergi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Tony Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tony Chaves having to make a save. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. SE Palestra Itália made a substitution. Richard Mendes replaced Clayton Sergi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Chaves saved SE Palestra Itália from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 70 minutes, Mariano Lacasa made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. SE Palestra Itália's Tony Chaves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of SE Palestra Itália booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Betão Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Betão Vargas came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The supporters of SE Palestra Itália booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute of the match Richard Mendes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thiago Pliego showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, SE Palestra Itália's Edson Fernandes got a free kick in the 87th minute. Edson Fernandes made in the 89th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Betão Vargas however managed to control. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tony Chaves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Richard Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chile had played much better football throughout.
