Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Expreso del oeste's Hernan Fernanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 3rd minute of play. Expreso del oeste's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jason Ghost in the 6th minute. The corner led to Expreso del oeste's Gaby Diares getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernan Fernanco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 20 minutes, Julian Murillo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Expreso del oeste's Hernan Fernanco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Constantino Lartaun came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Expreso del oeste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Lartaun couldn't finish the play. Constantino Lartaun in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rolando Noboa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of play forced Expreso del oeste's goalkeeper Hernan Fernanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Lartaun in the 35th minute of the match. Hernan Fernanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute of the match Peru got a corner. Expreso del oeste's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Corneliu Grecu made in the 44th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Honorio Mikeldi immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of play forced Expreso del oeste's goalkeeper Hernan Fernanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

With a little luck, Expreso del oeste's Hernan Fernanco got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Fernanco having to interfere. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Expreso del oeste's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Milagros Fraga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hernan Fernanco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 66th minute, Corneliu Grecu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the game, Honorio Mikeldi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hernan Fernanco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Lartaun in the 79th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Luz Tejedor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hernan Fernanco. That made the score 1-2 in the 82 minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Lino Ignatius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Expreso del oeste's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Expreso del oeste! Hernan Fernanco had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Eliseo Mina's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Expreso del oeste's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Hernan Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Corneliu Grecu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Expreso del oeste's Gaby Diares. But to his dismay, Gaby Diares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
