The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Karol Ochylski in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwo Sawicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Karol Ochylski however easily saved by the left post. In the 27th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Oceania Rumia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karol Ochylski quite easily take care of the ball. When %teams%'s Felix Montenegro was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-0 just inside the left pole, 27 minutes into the game. Karol Ochylski was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwo Sawicki's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Sawicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karol Ochylski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Oceania Rumia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Oceania Rumia's goalie and right to Juan Sebastián Puig. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Oceania Rumia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karol Ochylski having to make a save. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Karol Ochylski made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Oceania Rumia's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Karol Ochylski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iwo Sawicki in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwo Sawicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Oceania Rumia's Michal Siwy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Oceania Rumia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Felix Montes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Karol Ochylski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Karol Ochylski came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montes. But to his dismay, Felix Montes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julian Mikulski during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Oceania Rumia's Julian Mikulski got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Karol Ochylski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 71st minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwo Sawicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Ochylski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karol Ochylski having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iwo Sawicki in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Arkadiusz Liberko hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Liberko in the 94th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwo Sawicki in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Ecuador were the better team. Ecuador's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
