Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Gu Guang Cheng. But to his dismay, Gu Guang Cheng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ferit Boğatekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gu Guang Cheng in the 11th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Rahmad Lunggana came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Ferit Boğatekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Sean Dekker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Rahmad Lunggana. But to his dismay, Rahmad Lunggana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Kück didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Dekker in the 27th minute of the match. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gilmar Maranhense took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Eduardo Paes advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-5 in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Rahmad Lunggana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Dekker came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rahmad Lunggana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Sean Dekker notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Ferit Boğatekin got control of the ball when Axel Tasis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

After 53 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Gilmar Maranhense tried to sneak it across the goal line. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Rahmad Lunggana got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gu Guang Cheng in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Gu Guang Cheng managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Gu Guang Cheng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gu Guang Cheng had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 86th minute, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Sean Dekker dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. 89 minutes into the game, Gu Guang Cheng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Eduardo Paes. But to his dismay, Eduardo Paes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14.
