After 10 played minutes Vikings Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Teo Fernendo. Enrique Bidari was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jaime Pardo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Paraguay's Jaime Pardo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enrique Bidari. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. Enrique Bidari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vikings Fútbol Club's Enrique Bidari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Vikings Fútbol Club from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Vikings Fútbol Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Paraguay:s goal. When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Enrique Bidari. Vikings Fútbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Jaime Pardo scored to the left of an out of position Enrique Bidari, making the score, 5-0. Enrique Bidari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Bidari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The wind increased when Angelo Gimenez made the kick off in the second half. Paraguay walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
