Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Marcelinho de Salles started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gilberto Arce took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Varela in the 6th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Afonso Severo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jamaall Padmore hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Itajaí Football Club's Gilberto Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Arce came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 minutes of play, Itajaí Football Club's Conrado Miranda made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelinho de Salles in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demonde Jacobson saved Jamaica from getting behind. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jamaall Padmore hit a great ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Afonso Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itajaí Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Arce in the 34th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Varela charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Varela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Jamaica booed when Itajaí Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Itajaí Football Club's Conrado Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Itajaí Football Club's Conrado Miranda. But to his dismay, Conrado Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Miranda in the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Finlay Stair made a kick off. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Miranda went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Leonardo Varela sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when Andreas Piovezan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 60 minutes, Gilberto Arce made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Conrado Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demonde Jacobson having to interfere. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when Ramón Trigo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute, Romon Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Eduardo da Costa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Demonde Jacobson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Arce in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demonde Jacobson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute, Itajaí Football Club's Carlos Eduardo da Costa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Arce in the 79th minute of play. Jamaica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Carlos Eduardo da Costa scored to the left of an out of position Demonde Jacobson, making the score, 0-10. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Eduardo da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Arce came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Arce scored 0-12 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demonde Jacobson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Jamaica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Itajaí Football Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
