Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kyle Davies took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the game, Itajaí Football Club's Marcelinho de Salles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Marcelinho de Salles put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. When Itajaí Football Club's Marcelinho de Salles in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curacao's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho de Salles in the 12th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Leonardo Varela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itajaí Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After 22 minutes of play, Itajaí Football Club's Marcelinho de Salles made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Arce in the 32nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Marcelinho de Salles sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. After 37 minutes, Marcelinho de Salles made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Leonardo Varela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Varela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. After the first half Itajaí Football Club were leading 0-12. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelinho de Salles made a kick off. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Conrado Miranda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho de Salles in the 55th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Marcelinho de Salles dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno Barrett, 0-14. Itajaí Football Club's Carlos Eduardo da Costa was substituted for Marcelinho de Salles. Carlos Eduardo da Costa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Bruno Barrett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bruno Barrett was a little too slow when Leonardo Varela got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-15. After 67 minutes, Carlos Eduardo da Costa made it 0-16 with a short kick to the right side. Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gilberto Arce came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Itajaí Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Arce couldn't finish the play. Curacao's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Gilberto Arce scored to the left of an out of position Bruno Barrett, making the score, 0-18. 79 minutes into the game, Leonardo Varela recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Barrett. Leonardo Varela showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-19. After 82 minutes, Carlos Eduardo da Costa made it 0-20 with a short kick to the right side. Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo da Costa in the 86th minute of play. Itajaí Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Afonso Severo in the 87th minute. Kyle Davies hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, Rocco Owen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curacao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itajaí Football Club the free kick. In the 90th minute, Rocco Owen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Cox to maneuver through the defense. Afonso Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Varela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. Carlos Eduardo da Costa didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-21 via right post in the game's 97th minute. Itajaí Football Club's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Itajaí Football Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
