The referee showed Jaime Pardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd minute, Jaime Pardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Agustin Jaen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vikings Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Jaen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Vikings Fútbol Club booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes in the game Armando Fasoli did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tadeo Lartaun. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Fasoli's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 10thth minute of the game Claus Caminero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 minutes, Armando Fasoli made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claus Caminero's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Claus Caminero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gabriel Zunino got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tadeo Lartaun. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claus Caminero's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 32 minutes in the game Valentin Ayala did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Armando Fasoli. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Covarrubias during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mircea Phoenix. Vikings Fútbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Pardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Fasoli in the 40th minute of the match. With a little luck, Vikings Fútbol Club's Mircea Phoenix got control of the ball when Jaime Pardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Vikings Fútbol Club's Armando Fasoli. But to his dismay, Armando Fasoli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Agustin Jaen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Vikings Fútbol Club fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Vikings Fútbol Club's Armando Fasoli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Vikings Fútbol Club were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claus Caminero made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Fasoli. Claus Caminero did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Jacobo Nores 56 minutes into the match. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paraguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Claus Caminero was slow to take the kick. During this time Vikings Fútbol Club's players had a chance to rest. Gabriel Zunino made a great header on Vikings Fútbol Club's corner, it was just that Paraguay's Jacobo Nores managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 63rd minute Claus Caminero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Fasoli in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Armando Fasoli did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Jacobo Nores 65 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claus Caminero got free with Jacobo Nores in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Fasoli who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Jacobo Nores when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Armando Fasoli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. Armando Fasoli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. Armando Fasoli in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacobo Nores, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Jacobo Nores managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Vikings Fútbol Club's Armando Fasoli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jacobo Nores was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Tadeo Lartaun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tadeo Lartaun really showed his touch with that goal: 1-10. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claus Caminero in the 91st minute of the match. Agustin Jaen scored 1-11 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Armando Fasoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vikings Fútbol Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
